Using the power of Unreal 5.3 with VoxelPlugin 2.0,  Project Ether sets the stage on a colossal scale, envisioning not just an entire planet named "Ether" – which mirrors Earth's habitability but boasts extreme biomes – but also aspiring to expand this universe to a full solar system. Players will align with one of two factions, both embroiled in an ongoing, relentless conflict. The essence of gameplay revolves around collaboration within these factions to forge weapons, produce essential goods, and harvest resources, all to sustain their efforts in this persistent war.

Persistent War

Core

A persistent war on a global scale where players vote on what their faction is going to war over. Each War is persistent, and time is kept. The war is set in a "near future" setting. Once a Faction has achieved all of the War Objectives, there is a ceasefire. A ceasefire is a "server wipe." The next war begins upon receiving votes from each Faction for what the next war should be about. Events during a previous war, could determine why the next war is fought. There could even be Civil Wars internally and Factions may split. This is all for players to determine.
